What is the Jaguar Fund?
The Jaguar Fund is one of the Parent Faculty Club’s primary sources of funds to bridge the gap between public funding and the true cost of our children’s education at Walnut Acres. Our fundraising goal for Jaguar Fund is $175,000 which is 45% of our income goal for this year.
The suggested donation for the 2023-2024 school year is $65 per month or a one-time donation of $650, per child.

YOUR DONATION MAKES THE DIFFERENCE
The PFC's operating budget for the 2023-2024 school year is PFC budget is $577,790. Of that, $311,665 will be invested in staffing and $169,400 in strategic spending. See the complete approved PFC Budget here. We focused on the positions and programs that will have the greatest impact on our children's education. These include math and reading intervention specialists, science lab instructors and Instructional Aides in the classrooms. These positions will support our classroom teachers to make the most of every student's learning.

Why should I contribute?
Walnut Acres has a legacy of generosity. We are a community that cares a lot about the quality of education that our children receive. Your contribution to the Jaguar Fund is an investment in your child’s education.
$650 per student certainly sounds like a lot of money, but consider that it is only $65 per month for the 10 months school is in session. And, you can set up 10 monthly, recurring payments to your credit card.
Your contribution to the Jaguar Fund is 100% tax-deductible (Tax Id # 94-2398637).
Your company may match your donation dollar for dollar, doubling the impact of your donation. To find out if your Employer offers a Matching Gifts program, see your Human Resources department. Please note that some employers require you to donate through their site in order to participate in their Matching Gifts program.
There are no overhead costs for the Jaguar Fund fundraiser, so every penny you contribute goes directly to sustain important school programs and positions.

Online donation requires a MasterCard/Visa payment.
If you prefer to pay by cash or check, please drop-off your donation at the school office. A receipt will be emailed to you.

Employee Matching Gifts Program...another way to support Walnut Acres!
Many companies have an Employee Matching Gifts program. Employee Matching gifts are donations an employer makes to match its employees' charitable contributions. This is an easy way to double the impact of your gift. Some even provide matching funds to support employee volunteer hours.
To find out about your company's policy, search for “matching gifts” on your company intranet, or contact your HR department. It only takes a minute to submit your company's matching form and it makes a really big difference for our school. The information you will need is:
