Read-A-Thon Fundraiser

Read-A-Thon is a school-wide fundraiser that encourages students to raise money by reading every day. It supports important Walnut Acres programs funded by the PFC, including classroom aides, reading and math specialists, science support, art awareness, and vocal music.

Each spring, students set a personal reading goal and log their daily reading for 15 days. Family and friends can support their efforts by donating online or in person. At the end of the Read-A-Thon, students submit their reading logs and collected donations.

Prizes are awarded for top readers and top fundraisers in each class and grade group. It is a fun and meaningful way for students to build good habits while giving back to their school.
