Saturday, October 12th 9am-12pm

Please join us to beautify the Walnut Acres campus on October 12th. There is something for every age, interest and ability! 

Projects include: Clean the outdoor lunch tables, the play structure, and the library bookshelves, chairs and tables; Repaint the two buddy benches; Gardening; Pick-up trash; Sort and organize emergency supplies. 
Please bring: Gardening tools; trash bags (compostable preferred), scrubbing brushes/rags/sponges, buckets; work gloves; a couple of dollies and/or a rolling platform; your own refillable water bottle.  

We know you may have other activities planned that morning, but we’d LOVE to have you come help for as long (or short) as you can.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Walk/Roll to School Day!  What a wonderful sense of community when you see so many kids and parents out starting their day with a pep in their step and breathing in some crisp morning air!  A BIG thank you to Carolyn Bargagliotti & Meg Gibson-Keese for spearheading this school activity and thank you to everyone who helped them out!

PFC Fundraising

Why Does the Walnut Acres PFC Fundraise?
We will supplement over $397,000 to bridge the gap between public funding and what our children need to succeed.

Where Do the Funds Go?
Over 80% of our budget is used to pay for staff salaries

How Do We Fundraise?

$650 per child per year to Jaguar Fund
$100 per child to Read-A-Thon
$100 per child for Walk-A-Thon
...and participation in our other community building fundraising events like our Gala Auction, online auction, parent and kid buy-in parties, book fair, and Shop & Earn.

Who We Are

The Walnut Acres PFC is a non-profit organization responsible for school activities that build community, and fundraisers that raise money for staffing, enrichment, and vital campus materials support. Our fundraising is 100% parent raised and 100% student invested. It's for the kids!

The Walnut Acres PFC Board includes an 8-person executive team and a host of giving parent volunteers who chair over 40 committees. 

Membership in the PFC is automatically granted to the parents or legal guardians of children attending Walnut Acres Elementary School and the faculty of the school.  For more information, please visit What is the PFC?
