An author, Olympian, coach, entrepreneur, and storyteller, Jason will challenge us to rethink our traditional perspectives on high-performance in business, sport, and life, and ask us to explore how we can achieve personal success with greater fulfillment and joy.

  • FREE CONSERVATION COACH CONSULTATIONS

High School Conservation Coaches are Here to Help you Save!

The new nonprofit community program, Walnut Creek Saves, has a new team of high school students that are ready to help you use less and save more! Ten juniors and seniors from Northgate and Las Lomas High Schools completed three days of energy and water efficiency training to become Conservation Coaches. Walnut Creek Saves is proud to not only educate residents on how to save energy, water, and money, but give back to the local youth and prepare them for the workforce.

Conservation Coaches receive hand-on experience assisting with the home energy and water consultations, develop marketing and public speaking skills, and create innovative community outreach strategies. They also are able to work alongside their peers to achieve community-wide energy and water savings for Walnut Creek!

The free home consultations from Walnut Creek Saves include a complete evaluation of your energy and water usage, personalized reports that show the exact changes you can make to have a more efficient home, and free access to an online energy-saving account to encourage continued savings after the consultation.

Support your local youth and sign up for a free consultation today! Visit www.WalnutCreekSaves.org for more information or call 1-800-314-5997.

  • WALNUT CREEK SAVES

New Community Program that Supports Local Students: Walnut Creek Saves

Walnut Creek Saves is a new community program designed to save residents energy and water and lower their monthly bills. Walnut Creek Saves is offered as a part of the City of Walnut Creek’s efforts to address climate change and reach sustainability goals.

Walnut Creek Saves helps build a stronger local economy by creating discretionary income which is spent locally and by offering training and paid internships in energy efficiency to local high school students. High school students are trained as Conservation Coaches to help spread the word about the program, encourage residents to save energy and water, and assist with home consultations.

Walnut Creek Saves is a free program available to all residents, homeowners or renters, which offers the following benefits: free home consultations where residents learn how to save energy, water and money and free access to an online energy saving account called EnergyCenter to encourage continued savings after the consultations.

The home consultations are geared towards showing the exact changes residents can make to have more energy efficient homes while receiving free efficiency products to jump-start the savings right away (like LED bulbs and low-flow devices). The program is not a sales call but rather a home visit to help residents save energy and water through habit changes and small upgrades. You can sign up today by visiting www.WalnutCreekSaves.org or by calling 1-800-314-5997.
